Who loves popcorn ceiling?  Popcorn maybe, but that dreadful popcorn ceiling has plagued us since the 1950s. Thanks to the Clean Air Act of 1978, popcorn ceiling finally began to disappear from our homes (a lot of the paint used in the popcorn ceiling contained asbestos at the time).

However, many older homes still have these outdated ceilings. If you’re looking to finally get rid of popcorn ceiling, YouTuber Aaron Rollins shows you probably one of the most efficient and cleanest ways of doing it.

  1. We have removed the popcorn with just a putty knife, not even wetting the ceiling. This way the popcorn scrapes off, but still leaves a textured look to the ceiling.
