Who loves popcorn ceiling? Popcorn maybe, but that dreadful popcorn ceiling has plagued us since the 1950s. Thanks to the Clean Air Act of 1978, popcorn ceiling finally began to disappear from our homes (a lot of the paint used in the popcorn ceiling contained asbestos at the time).
However, many older homes still have these outdated ceilings. If you’re looking to finally get rid of popcorn ceiling, YouTuber Aaron Rollins shows you probably one of the most efficient and cleanest ways of doing it.
Things to do before beginning:
- Spray the ceiling with water
- Purchase a 6-inch putty knife and duct tape it to the end of your Shop-Vac (pick up at your local home improvement store).
- And that’s it!
Some claim you can complete an entire room in 10-15 minutes using this method with no mess!
